Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer all aspects of the Nuclear Medicine Department, focusing on nuclear medicine services.
  • Develop, implement, and review treatment service policies and protocols to ensure they align with best practices, promote optimal patient care, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Supervise nuclear medicine technologists, ensuring proper operation of equipment, adherence to patient care standards, and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in the recruitment and manpower planning process, contributing to a skilled and well-resourced team.
  • Manage department budgets, overseeing expenditures and optimizing financial resources.
  • Oversee the readiness and adequacy of all departmental equipment, including nuclear medicine devices, coordinating maintenance and ensuring their smooth operation.
  • Develop and update operational regulations for the department, aligning them with the hospital's direction, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the department towards achieving and maintaining hospital accreditation standards like HA (Hospital Accreditation) and JCI (Joint Commission International).
  • Generate reports and present findings to hospital administration, providing insights into departmental performance and needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiological Technology with specialization in Nuclear Medicine
  • Holds a professional license to practice Radiation Technology in Thailand
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial position within a Nuclear Medicine Department
  • Solid experience in utilizing nuclear medicine equipment
  • Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team development, problem-solving, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills to manage diverse departmental aspects.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Hospital information systems (HIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, including a good command of English for effective communication with staff, patients, and referring physicians.
