Responsibilities
  • Define operational guidelines by leading the implementation of the hospital’s strategic plan into actionable departmental plans and objectives in collaboration with the team.

  • Analyze and monitor issues arising from occurrence reports and customer complaints to develop strategic plans and set both short-term and long-term departmental goals.

  • Assess and monitor the quality of treatment and services provided by physical therapists and occupational therapists.

  • Ensure that staff strictly comply with the standards set by the hospital, as well as JCIA and HA accreditation requirements.

  • Plan and monitor quality improvement activities to ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.

  • Evaluate, manage, and execute the department’s operational budget according to the approved financial plan.

  • Implement and follow up on the procurement plans for tools and equipment needed in the department.

  • Analyze workload volume in relation to available staffing, and regularly review and report findings to hospital management for further decision-making.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.

  • Valid professional license and registration.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in physical therapy with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with JCIA and HA standards and hospital quality systems.

  • Workable proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
