MedPark Hospital showcases advanced medical technology,
innovations, and hospital sustainability design at Sustainability Expo 2022
Bangkok – On September 26th, 2022, MedPark Hospital participated in the Sustainability Expo 2022 (SX2022), ASEAN's largest Sustainability Expo, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. MedPark's booth showcased medical innovations and technology of Robotic-assisted knee replacement (ROSA) system enables surgeons to perform tailor-made knee arthroplasty customized to fit individual unique knee anatomy -- enhancing surgical precision and reducing human errors and Cyberdyne, an innovative technology that fuses human-robot interface and AI, helps patients with stroke or spinal cord injury speedily relearn and regain voluntary motor function.
MedPark Hospital also features its sustainable and environmentally friendly hospital building from the design, construction, and material management to operational stages. It has received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), v.4, gold-level certification from the US Green Building Council, with the highest score among a handful of LEED-certified hospitals in Southeast Asia.
On the inauguration day, Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of Thai Beverage (Public) Co., Ltd. and President of Sustainability Expo 2022, Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, Thanpuying Putrie Viravaidya, Chairperson of Mae Fah Luang Foundation under the Royal Patronage, Dr. Tares Krassanairawiwong, Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support, Mr. Renaud Meyer, UNDP Resident Representative to Thailand, Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Former Minister of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports(Thailand), Mr. Kamolnai Chaixanien, Senior Vice President of Thai Beverage Public Co., Ltd. and honorable guests visited MedPark Hospital’s booth at Hall 4, Better Me Zone and spectated the robotic innovations with the presence of Dr. Pongpat Patanavanich, Managing Director, Dr. Maiyadhaj Samsen, Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Somthawin Patanavanich, Ms. Wannee Boonchuailea, and Dr. Siripong Ratanachai, who welcomed and provided information about the exhibitions.
