Launches Initiative to Safeguard Physicians’ Heart Health Nationwide
MedPark Hospital reaffirms its commitment to promoting the well-being of physicians by inviting doctors from across Thailand to undergo free* cardiac arrhythmia screening and receive personalized medical guidance on appropriate care and treatment.
On April 22, 2025, MedPark Hospital held a press conference to officially launch the Save Doctors’ Heart 2025 initiative (2nd edition) at The Forum, M Floor. The event had the honor of having Prof. Dr. Sinn Anuras and Dr. Pongpat Patanavanich, Hospital Management Executives, along with Emeritus Professor Dr. Wasant Uthaiachalerm and the participating medical team, who joined to provide information about the project and share knowledge about cardiac arrhythmia with the attendees.
The "Save Doctors’ Heart 2025" initiative (2nd edition) offers physicians across Thailand who experience palpitations, fainting episodes, or have a history of untreated cardiac arrhythmia the opportunity to undergo risk screening for arrhythmias at MedPark Hospital. Selected participants will receive comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment recommendations from a team of cardiac electrophysiology specialists** led by Prof. Dr. Krit Jongnarangsin, a cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Michigan, alongside electrophysiology experts from MedPark Hospital and its partner institutions.
The Save Doctors’ Heart initiative was initially launched in 2022, receiving an overwhelming response with 1,236 physicians registering for cardiac screening. The results revealed that over 30% of participants had some form of cardiac abnormality, and 12 physicians required immediate medical interventions. These findings highlight the significant success of the program in restoring health to physicians, enabling them to return to their vital roles in patient care with renewed vigor and well-being.
Physicians interested in participating in the program may register and submit preliminary information online by clicking here or scanning the QR code. Registration is open between April 22 - July 31, 2025, or until the maximum of 1,000 participants is reached.
